Bumble and bumble Surf Infusion

Happy Mother’s Day to all the fabulous moms out there! This is quite an appropriate post for me today because one of the many things my mom taught me from a young age is the value of a good hair product – second-generation beauty addict over here.

The Bumble and bumble Surf Infusion ($35) is the brand’s latest addition to its Surf range. Last year, everyone was obsessing over the Surf Spray as a fabulous way to add texture and create those beachy waves. This spray has a similar effect, but makes your hair feel a lot smoother and hydrated.

Unlike salt sprays, Surf Infusion contains a combination of oils that still provides the texture of a salt spray without making your hair look dry. I’ve been using the Bumble and bumble Surf Spray for years but when my hair is a bit over grown, I find that it accentuates my dry, split ends. Surf Infusion is great because I still have that beachy hair texture while looking shiny and smooth.

I shake the bottle a little bit and then I spray a couple spritzes onto my dry hair. After a few moments, the layers in my hair are more prominent and slight waves start to appear. My hair also feels so soft and looks healthier!

If your hair is particularly thin and gets very greasy very easily (I’m totally in that club), I would recommend only using a couple of sprays on the lengths of your hair. I did find that using too much product made my hair get flat.

Now that I’ve figured out the correct application, I absolutely love this. I’m currently growing out my hair because I am planning on donating it to the Canadian Cancer Society for wigs (I’ve never had short hair before - this is definitely going to be interesting), so since my hair is very long at the moment, the more texture I can add (without drawing attention to my dead ends) the better.
