NUDESTIX Bronzing Pencil

NUDESTIX is quickly become one of my favourite brands. Long lasting products that are incredibly easy to use and very travel friendly. What else does a girl need? I added one more pencil to my NUDESTIX collection recently - the fabulous Bronzing Pencil ($28).

I started using the Bronzing Pencil when I arrived in Italy last month and I couldn't keep my hands off of it (you can probably tell from the picture that I really went to town with the bronzer). It’s a dual ended pencil that has a matte bronzer end (Earth) and a luminous highlight end (Golden Sugar).

These shades in the Golden Sugar/Earth stick are fantastic. I’m somewhere in between a light and medium skin tone and the bronzer is warm and quite natural, while the highlight adds a great glow, without looking overly shiny or glittery. Great for warming up your complexion and/or a very natural contour and highlight.

Just like the other NUDESTIX products I’ve tried (we all know I love the Magnetic Eye Pencils), both ends of the Bronzing Pencil are waterproof, incredibly long lasting but don’t heavy on the skin. I usually reapply my powder bronzers and highlighters a couple times a day but this pencil lasts well over a long 8 hours on my skin.

I apply the bronzer by drawing a “3” from my temple, to the hollow of the cheeks and down my chin. Then I take the highlighter and draw a line across the top of my cheeks. Then I just blend with my fingers for a light contour and highlight with a natural finish.

I haven’t tried the darker Bronzing Pencil (Brown Sugar/Terra) but if you have fair skin, I would definitely check out this lighter pencil. The bronzer is more neutral than most bronzer offerings out there and I think that having the ability to evenly blend out the product with your fingers allow you to have a really light and natural application.

Have you tried the NUDESTIX Bronzing Pencil? What are your favourite bronzers and highlighters?
