NUDESTIX – Skin Glossing Pencil

I’m a total sucker for a good multitasking product. With so many different beauty bits to choose from, it’s nice to be able to check off multiple boxes with one product. One of my favourites at the moment is the NUDESTIX Skin Glossing Pencil ($28) to add radiance to my cheeks, lips and eyes.

This convenient pencil has a creamy gel-like texture that applies very evenly on the skin, even or power. I’ve been using this daily on the top of the cheekbones as a highlighter. I just draw a line on my cheeks, where I would place a powder highlight, and blend it in with my finger. Initially, my skin feels a bit tacky where I apply the product but that feeling does dissipate shortly after. You can add a light application of powder or a powder highlight on top to get rid of that slightly sticky feeling. That being said, there is no need to powder to add longevity to the product. This lasts all day on me without melting, moving or disrupting my base makeup. I do reccomend using only a small amount of this and building it up as needed. I really went to town with this one day and looked way too shiny/wet for my liking.

If you read my post on the NUDESTIX Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balms, you know that I was using that product in Posh on my cheeks as well. The Glossing Pencil is even better. It has a champagne tint when you first apply it but once you blend it out, the product doesn’t add any colour but still gives you a natural sheen/iridescence. Formulated with 30 per cent hydrating plant oils from rapeseed, sunflower, cottonseed, and soybean, this product is also very hydrating and comfortable to wear.

The hydrating property also makes this product beautiful on the lips, particularly the Cupid’s bow, to add some dimension without drying out my lip area. You can also use this on the eyelids to add a glowing almost wet texture - a very cool look. If you have particularly oily eyelids like me, you’ll want to use this sparingly on the eyes – only a small amount will give you a great radiance without looking overly greasy.

Definitely a fantastic multitasking product that’s great when you’re on the go. Have you tried the NUDESTIX Skin Glossing Pencil?
