My Must-Have Shoe

My Must-Have Shoe

Everyone has a staple pair of shoes in their closet that they can’t live without. For me, that’s a pair of black, pointed toe flats. I remember getting my first pair of pointed toe flats (Steve Madden) eight years ago and I just threw them out a few weeks ago when realized I probably shouldn’t be walking around with holes on the soles of my shoes (yes, very embarrassing). I’m not the biggest fan of wearing heels on a daily basis and I found that pointed toe flats elongate my legs (like a heel) so I can feel like I’m wearing heels while still being comfortable.

After sadly having to part with my beloved Steve Maddens, I went to Ron White and picked up a new pair of pointed to flats. If you don’t know who Ron White is, he is a Canadian shoe designer who makes great quality shoes (for women and men) that are so comfortable you can wear them all day and night with no problems. A Ron White store is usually my go-to stop for shoes. Ron White shoes are always gorgeous, on trend and extremely comfortable (the Ron White Signature boots are my personal favourites) but the stores also carry other great brands like Frye, Cole Haan, Rebecca Minkoff and Hugo Boss.

My new Brit Onyx Ron White flats, from the WHITE Ron White collection, are great. They’re extremely comfortable and they have an interesting snake print detail that adds a little something extra to a simple flat. I’ve been wearing them with jeans, skirts, dresses - basically anything. The shoes do run a little big so I recommend going half a size or a full size down if you’re interested in purchasing them. The best part is that these are on sale right now for $60…a complete bargain! I guarantee that you will live in these flats if you can get your hands on them. (NOTE: The Ron White website says that these are out of stock but the Ron White store in the Manulife Centre in Toronto had them in the store when I was there on Sunday)

Let me know what your “must-have” shoes are and keep an eye out for a blog post about my favourite boots for fall, featuring my Ron White Signature boots.
