Hourglass – Ambient Lighting Edit
It’s that time of year again when beauty brands bring out limited edition palettes/kits/collections to kick off the holiday season. The first thing on my radar was definitely the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit – Surreal Light ($95), which has already received a lot of varying opinions. As a previous Hourglass limited edition palette owner, I had to get my hands on this year’s version.
Tarte x Grav3yardgirl Swap Queen Palette & New Sephora Opening
Happy Friday everyone! Yesterday I went to the opening of the new Sephora store at Yonge & Eglinton (in Toronto). I live in the area and I also grew up in the area so the fact there is now a Sephora steps away from my couch is incredibly exciting (and dangerous for my bank account).
Monthly Favourites - October 2015
I absolutely loved October because fall was in full swing! Lots of layers, boots, jackets and berry lips – perfection! I actually resurrected a lot of products from last fall this October but fear not, with my birthday is coming up later this month and I know I’ll have a whole slew of new products to talk to you about. Here are a few things I loved in October.
Monthly Favourites – June 2015
Happy favourites time everyone! The majority of products included in this collection of Favourites are products that ended up being essential on my recent vacation in Italy. I’m not going to bore you with another eyeshadow pencil/stick shout out (although I did bring those with me) but these are a few (other) products that I travelled with in June.
The Brightest Blush in the Land
You can probably tell from the name of my blog that I love my blush – I really can’t leave the house without it. For months, I have been extremely loyal to the Hourglass Ambient Light blushes but recently, a new and extremely pigmented blush has taken the spotlight – Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Crush ($31).

Best of Beauty 2014 – Best Products of 2014 Part 1
My last blog post was my best beauty discoveries of 2014, but now we’re going to get a bit more specific. This is Part 1 of my best products of 2014. This is Part 1 of my best beauty products of 2014, which are my best skincare, complexion and nail products. Part 2 (going up tomorrow) will showcase eyes, lips, hair and fragrance.
Monthly Favourties – December 2014
I hope everyone had an amazing holiday! I took a little holiday break from blogging (hence why there are two Monthly Favourites posts in a row) but now that I am full to the brim with turkey and cookies, I am back in full force. December for me has been all about adjusting to the cold weather and putting down some old favourites to make room for some new additions.

Loose Button Luxe Box – Fall 2014
I have tried countless beauty boxes and the reality is; they seem really cool but tend to be pretty lack luster once they arrive. I try not to be a pessimist but I’ve been through it all with beauty boxes, including but not limited to missing products in the box, broken products, even never receiving a box and never receiving a refund. These days I only receive one beauty box, Loose Button’s Luxe Box ($26 every 3 months or $50 every 6 months or $96 every 12 months).
Charlotte Tilbury – First Try, First Impression
It’s here everyone. Charlotte Tilbury has officially launched her coveted beauty collection in the U.S. Being Canadian; I was both excited and concerned because there was a chance that I STILL wouldn’t be able to get my hands on it. Fret not everyone, I took advantage of Net-A-Porter's last day of free shipping last week and got my hands on a few products.

Tarte Rainforest After Dark Palette
It was love at first sight with the Tarte Rainforest After Dark Colored Clay Eye & Cheek Palette. It was on my on my mind all the time and I could not be more excited to have it in my life (total beauty crush). This has everything I need in one beautifully packaged place, making it one of my favorite palettes of all time. If this beauty hasn’t seduced you yet – it will be by the end of this post.
